Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness (formerly World’s Best Workforce) is a part of 2013 Minnesota Statute, section 120B.11, that requires school districts to develop a long-term plan to support and improve teaching and learning in our schools in order to provide the best educational opportunities for our students while preparing them for the workplace after graduation.
There are five main goals that the Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness plan focuses on to help achieve a higher level of education. These include:

All children are ready for school.

All racial and economic achievement gaps between students are closed.

All students are ready for career and college.

All students graduate from high school.

Prepare students to be lifelong learners.

Being a part of Mid-State Education District provides our district with a strong network of collaboration and specialized support that enhances the educational services we are able to provide to students and families. As one of five member districts, we benefit from shared expertise and resources, particularly through comprehensive special education support services. Mid-State also provides important oversight and guidance related to due process requirements, helping ensure that our district remains in compliance and that students’ rights and educational needs are appropriately addressed. Through ongoing collaboration, communication, and shared problem-solving, Mid-State works alongside our staff to strengthen programs and services. In many ways, Mid-State serves as an extension of our district, allowing us to access specialized knowledge and resources while maintaining our commitment to providing high-quality educational opportunities for every student.
