World's Best Workforce

World's Best Workforce is a part of 2013 Minnesota Statute, section 120B.11, that requires school districts to develop a long-term plan to support and improve teaching and learning in our schools in order to provide the best educational opportunities for our students while preparing them for the workplace after graduation.

There are five main goals that the World's Best Workforce plan focuses on to help achieve a higher level of education. These include:
  • All children are ready for school
  • All third-graders can read at grade level
  • All racial and economic achievement gaps between students are closed
  • All students are ready for career and college
  • All students graduate from high school
