EARLY CHILDHOOD SCREENING

The State of Minnesota requires that all students have Early Childhood Screening done before enrolling in Kindergarten. The purpose of this screening is to identify any educational needs so that appropriate services can be offered. The ideal age group for this screening is 3 1/2 to 4 year old children. The screening includes hearing and vision, height and weight, health and developmental history, speech, motor skills, concepts, and emotional/social development using a standardized screening tool for this age group.

Royalton Schools provides Early Childhood Screening in the fall and spring of each year. This is a required one time screening for all children planning to enter preschool or kindergarten in the fall. Please contact Kathy Bzdok at 320-631-2500 or Ashley Britz at 320-584-4243 to register your child for this screening.

The next scheduled day for Early Childhood Screening will be March 10, 2016.
